We’ll measure your windows and help you choose vertical blinds that fit the space.
A sliding glass door is used differently from the other windows or doors in your home. You need to be able to reach the door easily, but you may also want privacy in the evening or less glare in the room. Vertical blinds give you a way to adjust the light without leaving the glass uncovered.
Southern Shutters and Blinds provides custom vertical blinds for homes and businesses in Athens, Georgia. They can be a practical choice for sliding doors and large windows, where the width may make other window coverings less convenient. We’ll look at the space with you before recommending a product.
During your consultation, we can talk through:
- Where you need privacy at different times of the day
- How much light you want during the day
- How often you use the door
- The look you want for the room
- How the blinds should open and close
We’ll measure the opening and help you choose blinds suited to your windows and daily routine. Once you’ve made your choice, we’ll custom order them and handle the installation. We’ll pay close attention to how the finished blinds fit and operate, because those details affect how you’ll use them every day.
Our owner, Ben, has worked in the window treatment industry since 1975, including years in manufacturing. He knows what goes into the products he recommends and takes care with each installation. If you’re considering vertical blinds for a patio door, a wide window, or several rooms, call us to discuss your project.
